Cute Chicks

Hi there — We celebrated my husbands birthday over the weekend with friends at one of his favorite Chinese food restaurants.  But, since the invitation was a boring e-mail, and we weren’t having it at home so I could decorate, I knew that I needed to do something creative.  I saw this on-line (I think on an AC Moore Facebook post, but now have seen it other places) and knew that this was it.  A cute little spring-themed takeaway for our “guests.”  I know they are not perfect, but I think that is part of their charm, no?  I packaged two in clear cellophane bags and tied them with ribbon.  Adorable & EASY!  They are Nutter-Butter cookies dipped in yellow melted candy — love it!

The Easter Bunny is on his way!

Hi there — if you are a reader of this blog with any regularity, then you know that I love to make holiday cards.  Typically they aren’t anything too fancy, but just cute enough to put a smile on someone’s face (and my son’s cute face doesn’t hurt!).  Anyway, here is this year’s Easter installment.  Enjoy!

Bachelorette Party Goodies

Hi there — Any chance to be crafty, right? My friend Steph and I made these adorable favors for a mutual friends’ bachelorette party…I am in love with them. Not only are they adorable, they are useful — oven mitt, wooden utensil, Mediterranean spice mix (the party was a cooking lesson), and the recipes that we learned. It was a hit and we loved thinking of the ideas and searching for the components!
